So school's started back up again, and after three days of class I've decided that it's going to be one loooooong semester. It's gonna be fun times, but my Monday-Thursday schedule is killer. I'm gonna be up early for the most part and out until 5pm each day. AND I have class and work on Friday. I'm finally working during the school year in college... it's the only way I'll have enough money for expenses and to save up for Spring Break. It's my ultimate motivation for working.

I loved this past summer, it went by WAY too fast, and now I'm hating my printer that's being a pain in my butt and I'm hating the stupid rain that thoroughly soaked me after a long day today. I know, super random.

On the upside, I get to go to the gym again, although it's sad how bad my heart's gotten over the summer... my cardio's killing me. And also on the upside is my very special day coming up in 10 days! I'm soooooooooooooo excited! I hope it's a good one.

If you reaaaaaaally wanna get me something, but only if you REALLY want to bc I don't really NEED anything... I would like:
>PICTURES to decorate my bare walls- like real pictures of the people I care about
>MONEY FOR CLOTHES (aka Gift Cards- I could always use some clothes, but I like trying on clothes before buying them)
>or anything else FROM THE HEART

I'm off to cook now! Cooking makes me happy! :)

And now July is over... that only means one thing- August is here and less than a month until we're back in school. Boo. I can't get over how much fun I've been having this summer. Thank you all for your company!

I am one VERY happy girl!

Nostalgia and my own farewells...

It's 6 o'clock in the morning, and I just can't sleep. My sleeping schedule is so messed up, starting from when late night studying began to sleeping in late on days that I didn't need to get up. I finished my 3rd exam tonight, a take home, and I just have one left. Then, I'll be a fourth year. It's so crazy how fast these years have come and gone. You start a semester, the work piles up, you take a few tests every few weeks, finals come, and then it's over. You wonder where the time has gone. Every week goes by so fast now, especially when there are so many things to do throughout the week. The weekends are always something to look forward to, which always go by fast to bring on another week of work.

I really REALLY don't wanna be a fourth year. I can't imagine what it's gonna be like having a job and going to work everyday. It's gonna be weird not having friends around constantly, and not having someone to run any sort of errands with at any time of day. It's going to be weird not living around everyone you know, and not being able to constantly see these people or at least once a week. I've become extremely nostalgic this past month or so, with the year ending and people I've really become close to leaving. I don't even know what I'm gonna be like next year if I'm like this now.

OYFA has truly been such a huge part of my college life. Pretty much every event that I've attended here, most of the friends that I've made, the majority of the memories I have have something to do with OYFA. Some people think that there are other things to see at the University that are worth seeing, and things that everyone should go out and do, or go out and explore, which I'm sure there is for other people, but I get everything I need from my college experience with the people I hang out with now, and the things that I do. Thanks Mike, for bringing me to that first meeting (you know you want the credit).

I'm sure I would've found other things to do if I wasn't in OYFA (maybe not), but I'm glad that it's what I found for me, and that it's been what it is. I've never felt so comfortable around any other group of people in my life. I know I've made friends with people who I'll be friends with forever, and even if I won't see a lot of them all the time after college, I hope I see them at least once in a while because I truly enjoy their company.

Congratulations, Class of 2006. I can't imagine being in your shoes right now. You all have got great things ahead of you, and even if your future isn't settled yet, I'm sure you're going to get there.

Aileen, I'm so glad that we've gotten to know each other better every year. From our crazy "projects" to random gossiping to serious talks about stupid boys, I'm glad that you've always been there to listen, and that you feel comfortable coming to me as well. I already miss being giddy and stupid back at the beginning of the year when we didn't give a care. Fun times... I'm going to miss you being around, although I still better see you often enough! SCREAMAVERSARY!!! Thanks for just being there.

Laurie, I wish we could've gotten to know each other better sooner. From everything I got to know about you this year, and the fun that we've had, I wish we could go back in time and just sit around and talk more. I remember this one random conversation we had about the most random life stories sitting on a bangko bench at 2104I one night. It's sharing like that that makes me wish you could stay for just one more year (bc I'll be gone after that) so that we could do it again. I hope your parents get less strict so you can visit often. You better still tell me stories! I'm going to miss your laugh, so keep laughing, and hopefully you won't have to worry about so much.

Miguel, OF ALL PEOPLE?! You really were obnoxious sometimes after a few drinks, haha, but besides that, I'm glad you've always been around. I'm kind of sad that we really only started talking about stuff this past year, probably bc I always thought you had a big mouth, haha, but you really do know how to keep the important things to yourself, when it really matters. You're probably one of the people who knows the most about me, haha, probably bc I wasn't the one who told you some of that stuff. But seriously, you can't make fun of my lips- yours are definitely bigger.

Kris, I probably couldn't thank you enough for everything you've helped me with, me and everyone else too. You're always willing to take your time and help others, no matter how busy you are. I hope you still have time for yourself. I know I've nagged you A LOT, and some things have changed, but it's definitely been an interesting past couple of years with you around. Good luck with everything.

VJ, I truly admire your talent and your drive to do whatever you set your mind to. And all the while you have fun with it. I love your laugh, and the smile you always have on your face. I'll miss your energy and your persuasiveness. Oh yea, and your tear-jerking motivational speeches. They're priceless.

Ruben, we've had our moments- times when you were there for me, when you listened to my complaints and my stories. I'm kinda sad it didn't stay throughout the year, but I'm glad that you shared those times with me. Thank you for that, and good luck with your future, from the Navy to your personal life.

Matt B., there's nothing else to say but Beach Week 2005! Woooo! You always make me laugh, and although your repeated catchphrases of the night get tiring, you always have a new one the next time I see you. I can't wait for Beach Week. Why do you have to go to Florida...

Lyn, big sib, you’re so sexy! I wish we could’ve gotten to know each other better, but I’m still glad that you were my big sib. You’re such a fun person to be around, and you always know how to have a good time. Good luck being a nurse, and with everything else in store for you in the future.

Mark, keep up your crazy dancing and your sexiness. I remember dancing with you at the ECAASU afterparty and damn, I couldn't keep up! Good luck with everything!

Marina, Joanna, Drea, Cora, and Robyn- I’ve enjoyed your company from time to time, although I wish I could’ve gotten to know you guys better. Marina, you’re so kooky, but it’s so cute and entertaining. Joanna, you’re such a nice, caring person- so honest and mature. Robyn, I wish you hung out with us more before, geez. I love your fun spirit, and your carefree attitude. Let’s go play again!

Sam, Jesse, and Ben, you all have such unique personalities. Don’t ever lose your creativity, intelligence, and drive to have fun doing anything at all. I always look forward to seeing you guys and the entertainment you bring in my life.

And that brings us to the end. I'm glad we've had this past year. I'm going to miss you all so very much. Good luck with everything!

Oh man, I better attempt getting some sleep again. Barrio was awesome btw. I would write about it here, but that would take another billion words. Hopefully you all received my thanks for every little thing you’ve contributed. A lot of events have gone on this semester that I used to write about in Xanga all the time, and I wish I still had time to so I could look back on them and remember the times, but I’ve been quite busy. These periodic entries will have to do. It’s been an awesome semester, and I hope things just keep getting better. Goodnight!
